Who We Are

Welcome to Desert Cardiology of Tucson. Desert Cardiology was founded over twenty years ago and began as a small cardiology practice with a vision to deliver quality, personalized patient care to the residents of our community. Twenty years later, Desert Cardiology has grown to house nine physicians.

But while our practice has expanded and we have remained at the forefront of cutting-edge medical technologies, our commitment to providing an exceptional “patient experience” has stayed the same. From the moment you walk into our office and are greeted by one of our helpful receptionists you will feel welcome and at ease knowing you are receiving the highest quality care. (read more…)

The complementary sub-specialties of our physicians and “team approach” to patient care enables Desert Cardiology to offer expertise in all areas of cardiology including echocardiography, interventional cardiology, preventative cardiology, electrophysiology, and nuclear cardiology.

According to Dr. Goldfinger, a cardiologist at Desert Cardiology, “One of the things we hear so often in medicine today is that physicians aren’t able to spend time with their patients and hear their concerns.”

Dr. Koshkarian adds, “At Desert Cardiology, we take the time to really listen to our patients and take into consideration their individual goals and needs. We believe this is essential to formulating a successful plan of care.”

“Whereas in other practices it might be typical to be seen by nurse practitioner or physician assistant rather than your physician, at Desert Cardiology you will ordinarily be scheduled for a one-on-one appointment with your cardiologist,” says Dr. Watson

With Desert Cardiology’s five convenient locations and flexible office hours, the “Heart of Tucson” continues to beat strong.
